Chess Puzzle Alarm is designed to work entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Chess Puzzle Alarm does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device only. It never leaves the device and is not accessible to us:

Your alarms (times, repeat days, labels, and puzzle settings).
Your puzzle history and streak statistics.
Your appearance preferences (board theme, piece set, light/dark mode).

Deleting the app removes this data.

Network use

Chess Puzzle Alarm works fully offline. The puzzles are bundled with the app (sourced from the public Lichess puzzle database, released under CC0). The app does not require or use an internet connection to function.

Alarms

The app uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule alarms that can ring through Silent mode and Focus. Alarm scheduling happens on your device through the operating system; no alarm information is sent to us or any server.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
