These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Chess Puzzle Alarm app ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. The App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these Terms and Apple's EULA differ, the terms more protective of the user apply.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law.
The App is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising.
The chess puzzles bundled with the App are drawn from the public Lichess puzzle database, released under the Creative Commons CC0 license.
The App schedules alarms through Apple's AlarmKit and depends on your device and iOS to deliver them. Alarms can be affected by your device being powered off, out of battery, or by system settings and permissions outside the App's control. Do not rely on the App as your only means of waking for time-critical needs.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use the App at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any missed alarm.
The App collects no data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
